The People We Love
Jon's Family:
Jon was raised in a quiet east Texas town. His father, Gary, is an assistant band
director for the local high school and his mother, Faith, is a
junior-high counselor. Jon has one sister, Miranda, who is a 22
year-old college music major. Miranda is a newly-wed to Evan, her
high school sweetheart of over 6 years. Miranda (aunt Mir) and Evan
(uncle Ev) are a blast to be around and will make a great uncle and
aunt to our children. Jon has one brother, Ben (uncle Ben), who is a
19 year-old college journalism major that is free-spirited,
fun-loving, and a self-proclaimed rock star and novelist. Jon is very close to his grandparents, aunts and uncles,
and cousins. Their family is tight knit and will be an integral part
of our kids lives.
Jennifer's Family:
Jennifer was raised in the small southeast Texas town. Jennifer's
father, Joe, is a Southern Baptist pastor and Jennifer's mother, Janice,
works for an educational service center. Jennifer is very close
to her mother and father, who are eager to have grandchildren.
Jennifer has one brother, David, a 28-year old graphics editor in
New York City. David has a zeal for life and loves the big
city. Our kids will love visiting their uncle David in New York.
Jennifer is very close to her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and
cousins. They, too, will be an important part of our kids lives.
